In addition to graphic and web design, I study the ancient art and science of heraldry. It’s a complex subject loaded with esoteric intricacies and a lot of common misconceptions. Many before me have done an excellent and better job explaining what heraldry is and what it means. So to learn more, I highly recommend visiting the American Heraldry Society website and reviewing their published Heraldic Primer and Guidelines for Heraldic Practice in the United States, as well as joining me in discussing the subject in their forum.
